2017 Retrospective by Lachlan Jordan

hiking in New Zealand

Well it's that time of year again, the time when it's almost over and I sit back and reflect on the year that was. Looking back on these photographs I once again feel grateful to be able to say I've had an eventful year.

This year I travelled to new destinations and explored new places. I photographed moments for people that will be forever shared with friends and family. I am really excited about where my photography went this year and am looking forward what opportunities may come my way in 2018.

I want to thank everyone who made 2017 great and everyone who continues to follow my work and recommend me to friends and family. You are all amazing and I am very thankful.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you enjoy this post looking back on my photography for the year of 2017.

Thailand on Film by Lachlan Jordan

You may have seen earlier in the year I did a blog post of some of my photos from Thailand, which I travelled to with my wife in late October / early November 2015 for our honeymoon. I also took my film camera with me and recently got all the photos developed.

So this is Thailand on Film, taken with my Ricoh Singlex TLS and on FujiFilm Superia X-Tra 400. I just love the aesthetic of film, and it is always so exciting to see how the photos develop.

Phuket, Thailand by Lachlan Jordan

In late October I Married the love of my life, Naomi, and our Honeymoon was in Phuket, Thailand. Somewhere warm, with Relaxation and Adventure that wasn't going to break the budget is what we wanted for our holiday, so Thailand seemed like a perfect choice.

Of course whilst over there I was very snap happy. Here's some of what I captured.
